Terms
What the platform does, what it does not do, and who is responsible for what.
Concept text. This describes the shape of a policy for a service that does not operate yet. It is not a contract, it has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and nobody should rely on it.
1 What Hirfawi is
Hirfawi is where a customer and an independent professional find each other, agree what a job is and what it costs, and keep a record of it. The work itself is a contract between those two people. Hirfawi is not a party to it and does not employ, supervise or subcontract anybody listed here.
2 Who does the work
Every professional here is independent and responsible for their own work, their own licences and their own tax. Verification means we checked the specific things shown on their page - a phone number, an identity document, a registration - and it does not mean we vouch for the quality of a particular visit.
3 Prices
A fixed price is fixed. A quote is a range until the professional has seen the job. Parts and additional work are added and priced with you during the visit, and the invoice cannot exceed what you approved. Anything agreed off the platform is outside all of that, and outside anything we can help with afterwards.
4 Cancelling
A customer may cancel free of charge until the visit starts. After that, time spent is chargeable. A professional who cancels repeatedly at short notice is removed from the marketplace, whatever their rating.
5 Ratings and reviews
A rating can only be left by the customer of a job that was requested, accepted, started and completed on the platform. Nobody, including us, can delete a rating for being unflattering. A professional may reply to one, and the reply stays with it.
6 Accounts
One account per person, with a real phone number. Accounts used to impersonate somebody, to collect leads, or to move customers off the platform in order to avoid the record are closed.
7 Liability
For damage caused during a visit, the professional is responsible and their cover applies. Our own liability is limited to the fees we took on the job in question. Nothing here limits any right you have under Jordanian law.
8 Changes
Material changes are announced before they take effect. Continuing to use the platform after that is acceptance of them.
